We have contacted all 42 local schools to share information and support and inspire efforts within local school communities to engage students and parents to reduce our community carbon footprint, especially by:
- Encouraging lower carbon-footprint modes of transportation to and from school
- Increasing energy efficiency
- Reducing waste
- Supporting a switch to alternative sources of energy
